Delivery is required on most cakes since most custom cakes are delicate and may require additional set-up at your site.

Delivery within a 5 mile radius of my home in Centennial, CO near County Line & Colorado Blvd is included in the price of the cake. Delivery to the local surrounding area will result in a delivery surcharge.
Is delivery required?
It totally depends on the complexity of the cake and my schedule, but currently I would recommend at least 2 weeks notice. Because some custom cakes are fairly involved, the number of orders I can take for any particular weekend is limited, so please check with me as soon as possible to see if I'm available to create your cake.
How far in advance should a cake be ordered?
My cakes and icings are individually homemade. I offer the following flavors: vanilla (butter/almond), chocolate, dark chocolate, cookies 'n cream, marble, mocha, chocolate chip, red velvet, strawberry, lemon, orange, pink champagne, smores, German chocolate and coconut. If you have a special flavor you would like, let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. Unfortunately, I do not offer gluten-free or sugar-free at this time.
What flavors do you offer?
Since each cake is totally homemade and customized, the price really depends on the design and size of the cake. I have listed below the base price (plain, iced cake) for a few sizes - the price of any decorations will be added on. Once I have an idea of what type of cake you would like, I can give you a personalized price estimate, which will be finalized once the size, flavor, and design are confirmed. (Please keep in mind the amount of time it may require to create a particular element.)

Base prices:
8" round: $50
Two tier, 6" and 8": $90
9x13 sheet cake: $55
11x15 sheet cake: $60
How much do your cakes cost?
My son was allergic to eggs and peanuts, so I have experience with dealing with food allergies. I have found several recipes that I have used successfully for his cakes, and I am open to working with you on figuring out how we can accommodate any allergies you may have. Dairy allergies are difficult, however, since many of the supplies I use for complex decorations have dairy products in them. I do not offer gluten-free or sugar-free cakes at this time.

How do you come up with the designs?
The design of the cakes are usually a collaboration between the customer and myself. Sometimes there's a particular theme or color scheme they'd like to incorporate, so we come up with a design keeping that in mind. Other times, the customer will provide a picture they found on-line that they love, and I will try to replicate that look. Often, I will look for elements from other cakes I find on-line, so that I can provide pictures to the customer, and they will have an idea of what I'm trying to describe. The design process is very flexible, which is one reason why contacting me with enough notice is desirable.

Are you licensed?
At this time, Colorado does not have a business license for home (cottage food) businesses. I do have a Colorado Sales Tax license, am food safety certified, and have taken the Colorado Food Business Workshop.
